“Wake up! Srah? Ayn? Hello? Please wake up!”

Axis was pacing, unable to contain his panic. Two hours ago, he had tried to make Zin see him, but all he managed to do was make the Ohrian prince cranky. He then went to the music room and blew out strange, high-pitched sounds on a flute.

It was ridiculous. Axis knew something bad was going to happen, though he didn't know what, and no one was listening to him.

“Ayn! Wake up!” he said, pouncing on Ayn's leg. “What are you dreaming? It better be a great dream if you're ignoring me like this!”

Frustrated, Axis jumped on Srah's chest, which he thought Ayn's arm had no business being on.

“Wake up, Srah!” he yelped. “I know you can sense me! Wake up, and make Ayn see me!”

Groggily, Srah slowly opened her eyes, and for a moment, she thought she saw the strangest creature; it was a cat of some sort. On second thought, she thought she saw a small Sarax - a baby one perhaps, and it was pawing at her chest, as if it had something very urgent to tell her.

She opened her eyes, then rubbed them. When she opened them all the way, the cat creature was gone. Had she been dreaming? If so, she wondered why the spirit of a Sarax would come to her in her sleep. She knew they usually didn't come to anyone unless they have a great message to give. She hoped it was a good message, and that next time she was dreaming, she'd see him again.

Stretching, Srah looked over at Ayn who was sleeping soundly next to her. She smiled as she remembered how adorable he had been the night before. She didn't know if he really was the reincarnation of The Great Adin, but she loved him all the same. She wished she could make everything alright for him so she could help him to uncover all he felt was lost.

However, she knew in her heart that he'd find out everything on his own someday, and he would no longer be so frightened. When that day came, she hoped she'd be there, holding his hand.

“Ayn?” she whispered as she gently nudged him. “It's ten o'clock. Do you want breakfast before your studies?”

Ayn slowly opened his eyes, yawning with a stretch of his arms. Srah thought he was the cutest thing in the universe. “Do you want me to make you some tea?” she whispered to him, smiling.

“Oh, yes, please,” Ayn sleepily replied. “Srah, I had the strangest dream,” he added as he clumsily followed her into the kitchen.

“Oh, really?” asked Srah as she took out the tea kettle and began filling it with water.

“Yeah... it was you and me on top of a mountain somewhere. I think it might have been where the temple ruins are here on Xen. Then, there was a big storm, and I saw Axis weeping for some reason and-”

“Who's Axis?” she asked while dipping the bags of tea into the kettle.
